New designs at Envelop.

Soo pleased with these 2 designs for my Envelop shop both significant because of memories of spending time with my Dad in Majorca and at my Grandmas house growing up.
My Grandma was one of the first members of Greenpeace and had posters of whales all around her house, I loved looking at them and whales will always have a very special place in my heart.

Further adventures around London.

So my second trip up to London involved a bit of pampering!! Some friends and I took ourselves up to the Lush spa on the Kings Road enjoying some elephants along the way!!
The spa itself has a vintage cottage feel with lots of lotions and potions dotted around and I can definatly say it was the most relaxing hour and a half massage I have ever experienced!
The music is beautiful, sometimes you are in a wood with owls hooting above your head and then transported to a summer morning surrounded by a chorus of birdsong, amazing.
You are given the opportunity to chose an area to focus on, I chose perspective and the oils and massage reflects this.
If you are looking for a real treat for a friend or yourself I would highly recommend checking it out www.lush.co.uk/spa

Recent adventures!

So recently I have been whizzing up to London to spend time with friends and get all inspired and as soon as I heard about this exhibition at the V&A I just had to go. Quilts have been a passion of mine for a long time and the show didnt disappoint, it was brilliant showing the most incrediable pieces of work and techniques ranging from the very old to modern interpretations.
If you get a chance I would highly recommend it and more details can be found here www.vam.ac.uk/collections/textiles/quilts-1700-2010/

My First Shop!!

Well this is a very exciting time, my very own first shop over at Envelop...Hurrah!
I have been thoroughly enjoying designing for cotton products and have so many ideas and not enough time to get them all done!!
It is also a great opportunity for me to gauge the reaction to my designs and work without any restrictions, plans for patterns and more bright fun products to come, I would love to hear what you think.
