I really enjoyed illustrating sal's mom's banana bread back in January so when my friend gave me Joe's Jerk Sauce I instantly thought of BBQ's and then illustrating it! When sending it in I was excited to see a competition for the hottest recipe illustration, the winner will recieve a cute pair of vintage salt and pepper shakers. It ends on Friday so have to be quick. Check it out at www.recipelook.co.uk/

Whether it is getting engaged, married, having a baby, a new haircut, a new house or going on an amazing holiday this summer like me, it certainly is all happening at the moment.
Here is a design I wanted to create to say exactly this...CONGRATULATIONS to everyone with good news!! Have a great weekend all x
Ok so I sometimes decide that I will spend a day on one new project, just to get me started and then sometimes bits end up as something different or they stay the same forever! This is a design which has led on from my In my garden textile designs, I wanted to move it into cards and am really happy with my colour palette.
Yesterday I spent an hour in my garden observing the new shoots and insects, I love it although will say...its very difficult to take a photo of an ant!! This is the idea is I will be exploring mostly this week.
I had a lovely weekend and love Brighton for the things you can find being sold in the Lanes. As I am currently enjoying shopping with a budget I was pleased with this brazilian coffee bean bag for £2 which I intend to make into a cushion for the garden.
