what have I been doing...???

its been ages since I have posted any of my work so here is a piece for you to see, work in progress x

A day of peace and work.

Last week I had a crazy day getting some pieces ready for a deadline, felt like it was never going to end so today I am going to spend a peaceful day with music getting a head start on some textiles work, characters, love it. Happy Sunday all x

My Tigerprint Entry.

I have had time to get an entry into this months Tigerprint Catwalk inspired female giftbag competition. I am really pleased with my entry and will be looking to expand on the style for some products for my Envelop shop. Fingers crossed!!

Exciting times.

Hallo so not only do I have all my fingers and toes crossed for Surtex I have now also officially joined the Brighton Illustrators Group. As a pretty newly fledged freelancer I am finding it really helpful and supportive to share experiences (and ask lots of questions!) to established designers/illustrators. Ok so I sometimes decide that I will spend a day on one new project, just to get me started and then sometimes bits end up as something different or they stay the same forever!
This is a design which has led on from my In my garden textile designs, I wanted to move it into cards and am really happy with my colour palette.

Yesterday I spent an hour in my garden observing the new shoots and insects, I love it although will say...its very difficult to take a photo of an ant!!
This is the idea is I will be exploring mostly this week.
