southern sun.

we went to west wittering beach on thursday for the first time and oh my it was the perfect day, so beautiful it reminded me of some of the australian beaches I was lucky enough to visit in my twenties, aah unexpected hazy days not bad at all... have glorious weekends wherever you are :)

middle farm

we went to Middle Farm yesterday with the lovely Hanne and Milton it was ACE! they have all the farm animals you need... 

 olive loved the journey on the train...

 ...I was in love with this very handsome rabbit...

 and they had the most amazing varieties of chickens and not forgetting a huge selection of cider which you are free to sample mmm :)

back on track... I have booked to see 3 potential wedding party venues, hurrah I have officially begun to plan wedding!!

loved this swedish applique blanket which belongs to olives friend jasper, I like the colours and the familiar shape of the bonnet...will they ever make a come back??!!

I am feeling such strong urges to go to sweden for inspirational visit at the mo, how nice would that be...anyone been??

an honest entry...

hallo so I feel like telling it how it is with me right now...I am a bit of a worrier and sometimes that isn't EXACTLY the best recipe for a freelancer...with not much valuable time...and a 9 month (can you believe Olive is nearly 9 months old...?!!!) and a part time job I kinda wish I could give up and a million gazillion ideas bouncing around my head about what to do next AND we are going to get married next year... I am not quite sure how right now AAAARRRRrrrrGGGggggG!!!!..............phew ok I feel a bit better now so yes please enjoy the lovely bright flowers I found at the weekend aah nice and calming...

the view from the studio window today, the sun is shining, the busker is busking away and I am beavering away on some christmas designs with the smell of a fizzbanger from lush on my desk...apple deliciousness :)

hmm what to make...?

this and 2 other designs arrived in the post today, am really pleased with them and so now have to decide what to create, already have a couple of ideas but would love to hear your thoughts...?

crochet is officially for the patient, my mother in law tried to teach me and I just ended up with a blob and haven't returned since and choose to stick with knitting...with my sticks...very complex scarves and squares ;)

autumn brown.

a working day today and wanted to reconnect with my camera.

With the weather being yacky outside I just explored the studio for all things brown, cant stop thinking about it, maybe a chocolate fixation!!
