I happened across this fun blog recipelook the other day and have today enjoyed doing something a bit different. I chose to illustrate a recipe kindly given to me by my friend Sally and created by her Mom. I cook it regularly as it is a great way to use up those bananas that are a bit past it, in fact the browner the better!! Check out recipelook by following the link www.recipelook.co.uk
Love this post! I'm tempted by the recipe for next time I have a load of bananas and love the recipe blog! Might give it a go! hope all is well.x
ReplyDeletelove this. I especially like the pink border, but can you tell me-should it be self raising flour or plain? Thinking of trying it later and worried it won t rise!
ReplyDeleteHiya! self raising would be good, I have to admit I have used plain when I was missing the other and it turned out ok!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing with this recipe is you can experiment with the ingredients and get different results every time!!
Good luck. x
Thanks, I made it this weekend with self-raising and it turned out fine. This loaf is great cos it does nt have sugar, I never realised banana bread would be so much nicer that way!
ReplyDeleteaah that is soo good, I am pleased that you liked it!! It is such simple ingredients and you can add different healthy things nuts, dates etc the possibilities are endless!!
ReplyDeleteMy mum will be very proud her recipe is reaching the nation!! X
ReplyDeleteBy the way I love the illustrations!!! X
