hallo how are my fellow bloggers???

its been a while since I have blogged as have been in a world of broken laptops (it wasn't me!) refreshing my website which is coming on strong with new ranges and the like and THEN being told that our flat is going on the market so we have to find a new home!! eek its all good nothing stays the same so we are going to find a new place to have Olives garden parties!

my whale pod.

I am pleased to introduce you to my whales, inspired by my LOVE of the great and wonderful creatures themselves, I would happily hug all 3 to sleep every night.

They are going to get their first outing this weekend at the LOVE IT fair at Hanover Community centre, Brighton and they feature 2 of my new fabrics, cool spots and ice zipsticks soon to be available over at my spoonflower shop...

Super socks!

I entered the latest Sock it to me comp with these designs, would be sooo sweet to have a pair to wear on me feet!
My best friend is on her way to babysit and tomorrow night am off out with me fiance for the first time since having Olive, got a hair appointment to help make me feel human again and my heart set on a few cocktails, bring it on, have good weekends! :)

Print pattern spot.

I was pleased to see one of the Valentines designs I sold last year popping up on Print Pattern.
As all my lovin is going on our Olive at the mo we are not going out so have invested in a posh bottle of bubbly for tonight yum, just hope I get a chance to drink it!!

A funky hog.

Been working on some ideas for some childrens textiles one of which is this musical hedgehog tee hee, I would love to hear the melodies he come out with!

Age cards.

I love creating new characters and have been meaning to begin exploring children for a while, they have taken shape in some age cards which I have just designed to be sold exclusively in Love Frankie, Kemp Town. I have designed 1 to 5 and I have decided to show you my 2's!!

Exciting times.

Hallo so not only do I have all my fingers and toes crossed for Surtex I have now also officially joined the Brighton Illustrators Group. As a pretty newly fledged freelancer I am finding it really helpful and supportive to share experiences (and ask lots of questions!) to established designers/illustrators. Christmas.

Ok so I am getting in the groove with getting things ready for Surtex, Booth 324/326 and thought I would show you some of my happy christmas characters, how exciting!! x

Whether it is getting engaged, married, having a baby, a new haircut, a new house or going on an amazing holiday this summer like me, it certainly is all happening at the moment.
