I thought I would post some pics from our trip on the Brighton Eye, it was the perfect day for it and I loved looking down on all the people relaxing on the beach.

Hi guys hows tricks? I thought I would show off Olives drawing skills she is excellent for 15 months ( today) dont you think, I have been impressed with her drawing in the lines I must say!!

my own creative brain is being somewhat taken over with all this househunting we have seen 6 places now, I have become accustomed to the FISHEYE lenses the clever estate agents use after having fits of laughter in the first mouse house and now just need to get a pay rise,Brighton aint cheap!!

hallo how are my fellow bloggers???

its been a while since I have blogged as have been in a world of broken laptops (it wasn't me!) refreshing my website which is coming on strong with new ranges and the like and THEN being told that our flat is going on the market so we have to find a new home!! eek its all good nothing stays the same so we are going to find a new place to have Olives garden parties!

I was zipping past the v nice Berts yesterday when these nicely illustrated Blue Q teas caught my eye, I will have a cup of Live Forever please, just milk no sugar, ta :)

Happy Valentines Day.

On my way to the studio this morning I took some shots of some interesting LURVE themed cards and bits, have a romantic day all you lovebirds x

cutting, scoring and bagging.

So yesterday I cut out, scored and cello bagged 120 ooh polari cards in order to cut costs on my first SOR order for Cardome, Malarky and Custard in Brighton. It was a mission, first I had to find a emboss tool, which I then forgot to take home, brilliant. then this morning I forgot to bring the envelopes so had to tazz home to get them...and this is only for 3 stores!! so now fingers crossed for some sales :)

Just popped into M&S and spotted one of the Mother's day designs I sold to them last year looking rather nice :)

OOH POLARI!

Good morning all!! ok so enough of the weird 70's men and onto some new illustration.

This year is all about getting my card ranges out there.

and here is my 1st new range called OOH POLARI! 

 Inspired by the quirky language of polari, glamour, GLITTER, DRAG QUEENS, a bit of cheekiness and most of all FUN.

3 card shops in Brighton have this morning agreed to trial them for me so it is all systems go :)

hidedoodi there peeps, how are you? I am battling through snotface NO 2, me and boyf seem to be passing it from one to the other now which is GREAT fun!! well to follow on from my last post the book Bad Hair has been floating around the studio and I thought I would share some of my faves, particularly drawn to number 2 :)

my mom had loads of newspaper randomness from the 60's and 70's kept in her recipe book, which I love. Oh how things have changed, when is this revival gonna happen eh??!! DUDES!!I love the huge belt buckle:)

hallo well its a right cacka day down here in Brighton, on the way to the studio this morning this little star twinkled at me, aww a little persons school project maybe...? its now twinkling above my head.

been a bit since I last posted got some NEW and EXCITING projects on the go...all to come sooN!!!!

London Sunday.

me and my boyf went up to London yesterday to check out Top Drawer. 

I have been thinking about taking part in Pulse in June with my cards, there was TONS of other card publishers, quite overwhelming, we also got a bit of time to mooch around the new HOME show which included the Donna Wilson stand along with lots of new and exciting things to look at :)

everythings breaking!

morning, everything seems to be breaking all of a sudden, my tumble dryer is on the blink despite being on for what definitely has been hours things arent getting dry, I cleaned out 10 tons of fluff gunk and that made no difference and now my laptop has just died...it did some update thing and now it wont even switch on!!!

on the plus side we have been waking up to some AMAZING skies this last few days and here is this mornings, gorgeous!!

Rubber collection!!

we have just been reunited with my boyfriends rubber collection from when he was a little boy.

 he had written 'super cats' on a lot of them too now that is cute x

had a really nice weekend laughing (at Lee Macks stand up till I cried),eating,  spring cleaning/sorting always feels so good when the place is tidy and playing with the bab, I hung this mobile up for Olive, just LOVE the little faces, happy Monday.

the BEST party!!

we had the best day yesterday and I really think olive GOT the fact that it was her birthday, after having 'Happy Birthday' sung at her all the time, she loved her princess cake and got spoilt rotten, it was FAB :)

Happy Birthday to the little one!! its been a rollercoaster year but what a mighty fine one at that :)

Olives got some mates popping over this afternoon ( ALL boys!) and then cake and present opening with tha family later, too good x

I have been really enjoying illustrating birds this year and intend to continue doing so , this is one I was playing with last week for t-shirts x

Stig.

hallo!! been drawing my stig, stig is a rescue cat, bit jumpy to say the least, never sat on my lap and doesn't let me pick him up apart from the once in the cattery when we were reunited after 2 weeks and I picked him up for a cuddle and he lept from my arms whilst shredding the palm of my hand at the same time aah happy dayZZZZzzzzzzzz :)

hallo last week at the Lush xmas party in the very delicious fresh and tasty Bills of Brighton we did secret santa and I was over the moon with these lovely handmade matryoshka dolls from Sarah, apparently her boyf was responsible for the faces. Cant wait to hang these on the tree for a small amount of time before Olive yanks them off and eats them!!!

last night I took my other half to see Turin Brakes in a church as a surprise, he loves um, it was fab, an acoustic celebration that echoed around this HUGE church, with beer...can you sell beer in a church...?!? apparently so!!

today my dad has flown back to Majorca and I have uploaded my remaining whales and head scarves to etsy. To peek click here

this week I have been mainly mom, grandma moved house so they have had plenty of sorting out to do their end and I have been getting some quality time with my little lady, didnt ACTUALLY think it would be possible to get any tireder( is that even a word?!?) but it appears you can, am frazzled but  Olive is now saying mummy, byeee, night night and standing on her own but not quite ready to take those first few steps but sure wont be long!!!! look at that little mush :)

hi there chaps so did a bit of Karaoke saturday night oh yeah delighted to see this on the choice list, my current fave poptastic joy bringer, if you dont dance there really is something wrong with you :)

had a lovely time on saturday at Cornerstone, met some lovely people and Olive was the star of the show again!! one man snapped up one of blue whales too which was nice, thank you to him :)
